Puerto Rico Day One and Two

We left KC at the early hour of 6 a.m. in order to get the most out of our first day. This requires leaving our house at 4:15 a.m.!! We arrived in cloudy Puerto Rico (PR) at 3:00 p.m. and headed straight down to the pool. No sooner than we ordered our lunch, the cloudy skies burst into a downpour. We were determined to not let a little rain ruin our time, we had our swimsuits on, however, this was a downpour that would not let up, and the lightning prevented us from actually getting in the pool. For dinner, we went to the hotel next door, El San Juan Hotel, and proceeded to spend $100 at a "happy hour special" restaurant!! HA! Only the sliders were happy hour, the drinks were still $10! Oh well!

Day Two: We toured old war forts (sorry roommate, I can't remember names)and Old San Juan. I will post Old San Juan pics later, we took a ton of Old San Juan.

This is a Sentry. I remember what this is called by associating the company, Sentry Insurance. Don't know if this works for you or not, just thought I would share my weirdness.

Me in front of a canon hole. I saw two men making out in one of the canon holes. They didn't evoke that kind of affection for my roommate and I.....


This is the second fort from a distance. Look at the middle of the picture -see the red roof?? This is a cemetery. Kinda creepy.
