Spit up laughter

I did something last night that I can't remember doing for at least 10 years. I laughed so hard and unexpectedly that I spit out the pop in my mouth. Unfortunately this was at someone else's house so I felt bad about that (I cleaned it up), but lord did it feel good.

If I even began to tell you what I was laughing about you would not get it, and that is what makes this story even better. You see, my roommie is a really humorous guy. He says shit that is so random but to me it is hilarious (most of the time). That is what happened last night and he wasn't even saying anything to try and make me laugh, he was just being his normal self, talking randomness and what he said was just so darn funny.

Here is some background:
We have invited "Joe" over to our house several times, but he never comes over as he always has other plans. We do believe he has other plans but it seems he is always visiting random people. So, roommie says to Joe: When are you coming over to our house? Joe says he promises he will make it over soon. Roommie says: "Yeah right, you will probably have to visit your girlfriend's grandma's best friend." Cue Red: Spit up pop all over herself and couch.

I really don't expect you to laugh, but I will each and every time I read this.

ANSWER: Willie

After the OVERWHELMING response I received from my previous post, I decided it wasn't fair to keep my two readers in suspense!!

This little guy wanted to make sure he got everything covered up just perfectly. And it would seem that I would be the strange person to take a picture of this for blogging purposes....but I can't claim this one. My roommie sent this to me in a text and I couldn't refrain from sharing!

Erin wins!! I am sorry, but the prize for this one really stinks as it is bragging rights only!

Purple Power

OMG, the gods of Wildcat land shined down upon us last night. We saw a victory over the Jayhawks last night and it renewed my energy and spirit with my team. Honestly, I went into this game just praying we could have a decent showing, never did I think we would win, and win GOOD.

And oh yeah, it was Valentine's day too, so all of the faithful followers in Wildcat land were feeling a little giddy.

Me and my gal pals

My roommie went down on the floor - I chose to watch from above.

ROMANTIC POINT OF THE DAY: They were interviewing Frank (the coach) after the game and asked him if this was a nice present for his Wife for Valentines. He responded that this was great, but what he is so lucky for is that she gives him the courage to do his job every day. Such a sweet sentiment. I am pretty lucky too, b/c my roommie encourages me, pushing and supporting me every step of the way, even if that means telling me how to drive!

Jordy-cakes

I just had to show you how my cake decorating is improving!!

These are Jordy-cakes (named by my roommie and quite catchy, I might add). Ok, they are really just cupcakes with Jordy Nelson's number on them. Yes, the 87 is a bit shaky, however, I did this in the car so I thought it was pretty good.

The past week hasn't really been too eventful, but I do have to mention a movie we saw this week - Black Swan. Let's just say that it is not what I thought. I thought it was a movie about ballet. When I mentioned this to my fellow movie goers, they looked at each other and laughed. "Red, have you seen the movie trailer?" "No, just the poster." They are laughing b/c they know I don't like to be scared and this movie is definitely not a romantic-comedy. Yes, there is ballet in it, but A LOT of weird, creepy stuff. I don't want to ruin it for you, but let me warn you it is not a sweet dancing movie.

SNOW!!

I was talking with my friend KC, and she was telling me how her grandma wrote in her diary about the weather every day. I am not going to write about the daily weather on this thing, but I thought I needed to document the "Blizzard". The snow was so gorgeous and since I didn't have to go anywhere, I can actually say that I enjoyed the snow.

Dear Diary,
Tuesday was a very snowy and cold day. The temp was about 10 degrees, winds were about 10 - 20 mph and we got about 13.5 inches of snow.

I really liked how the snow stuck to the house - pretty cool.

Our wildcat was lost in the snow since it was so high. My roommie tells me he will hold on to one arm and I can reach over the pile and grab the sign. Well, I don't know who didn't do their job, but I ended up faceplanting in the snow. Then, he wouldn't help me up! Abuse documented.
